Tragi-comic variations for wasted youth. A celebration of life as unpredictable as it is funny and bursting with energy!

How best to tackle the subject of Death (be it physical, implied, liberating, metaphorical or simply absurd) with humour, irony and perspective? In three separate episodes (love, liberty and life) and a series of farcical sketches, five characters sweep us up into their “choreographed” exploration of life, death and suicide (successful or otherwise), laughing in the face of tragedy...
Requiem à deux balles is a burlesque celebration of mime, finely-orchestrated and aimed at the widest possible audience, combining humour and rhythm through the poetic imagery conjured up by the five actors/mime artists. This is a show about death in all its forms: accidental, threatened, premeditated, liberating, metaphorical or simply absurd. But, over the course of this trilogy of individual dramas, what emerges is an ode to life and its myriad complexities. Each of the three scenes is introduced with a title card, like a mime performance or silent film, presented by the same character on whom the action will focus.
