Chaliwaté is a company devoted to the theatre of movement, while also seeking to raise awareness of current events and issues such as the water crisis.
The company was founded by two graduates of the Marcel Marceau Institute of Mimodrame: Sandrine Heyraud and Sicaire Durieux. They have been honing and developing their style ever since. While their formal training provided a solid grounding in the fundamental tenets of the theatre of movement, they have now begun to forge their own path and their own approach to creation.
