"Teatro del Silencio is home to a diverse array of actors, dancers, musicians, acrobats and set designers.
Since its inception, the Company has devoted itself to exploring the possibilities of movement and finding the emotional chords that unite theatre, mime, dance, circus performance and music. This approach has enabled the company to reach a wide audience: men, women and children of all cultures, backgrounds and languages will find something to enjoy in this unique theatrical “language”, a journey through time and space with no borders and no barriers.
From 1989 until 1997, Teatro del Silencio was based in Chile. The company then moved to France, setting up home in Aurillac from 1999 until 2010. Based in the Ile-de-France region since 2010, Teatro del Silencio continues its quest for “total theatre”, determined to create a theatrical language that is open to all, offering a unique reflection of the times in which we live."
