Focusing their collaborative explorations on methods of generating meaning, they have succeeded in creating a multi-disciplinary artistic project which is resolutely open to experimentation, bringing together dance, music and the visual arts to construct a brand new vision of the world - and having plenty of fun in the process.

The Company is a true one-off in the French artistic landscape. Combining dance, sophisticated imagery and innovative sound installations, their theatrical vision of reality echoes the madness of our modern world.

Enriched by a diverse wellspring of artistic know-how, Système Castafiore is devoted to the pursuit of playful imagery. This philosophy is in large part inspired by the infectious joy of the company’s masterminds: choreographer Marcia Barcellos and director and composer Karl Biscuit, joint leaders of this endlessly creative artistic collective.
