"A free and curious spirit, Hervé Diasnas never ceases to explore the fields of perception, expression and communication that feed his vast repertoire of unparalleled works, which constantly ""speak"" to everyone.
This is reflected in his pedagogical approach. How does he manage to teach dance to the deaf and blind? What is this new and unique form of training, which he calls ""Practice?"" It is certainly not a technique, unless you employ the word in its original etymological sense: an art form, the art of an acute and relaxed receptiveness to oneself, to others, to space. Supporting young artists is part of this initiative.
He does not simply do the dance; he is the dance. He doesn't take the easy way out. His works, whether as a solo artist or as a septet, remain engraved in our memory because of their creative process and theme.
While, as a performer, he exudes constant and powerful inner states, as a choreographer, he is meticulously demanding. He creates a symbiosis of sound, light, clothing and material elements, which serve not as accessories, but as amplifiers of his writing. He creates with simplicity and purity. From this organic cohesion, unexpected images that are neither finished nor beautiful are created. They only want to exist, and that is their power of suggestion. The beauty of this momentum is the momentum itself, rather than the effects it creates. There is no figurative or demonstrative dance, no encumbering intellect to ""tell"" us about mankind. His breath speaks to us.
Modern humanists have a feisty air of insubordination, while they bridle and persevere in the exploration of art and the living."
