Association Cricao’s mission statement is to support the creativity of artists representing and redefining the cultures of the world, nurturing the common language of intercultural interaction and cross-fertilisation (of cultures and modes of expression), as well as the transmission and dissemination of their work.
Rooted in a diverse array of traditions, CRICAO’s members are engaged in a permanent, passionate dialogue with the world around them, championing and embodying the values of cultural diversity as well as the universal values that connect us all to the earth and its essential spirit.
In a global context dominated by the circulation and standardisation of artworks, the collective is committed to supporting creations driven by a singular vision, the fruit of a constant re-examination of tradition and its relation to spirituality and transmission, in permanent dialogue with contemporary western aesthetics.
