Marta Carrasco first studied piano and singing, before turning to contemporary and classical dancing, and jazz.
She has performed with a number of prominent companies, including Mudances and Le Centre National Chorégraphique.
In 1995 and 1998 she presented two solo shows: Les eaux de vies and Le Blanc d'ombre - Sur les pas de Camille Claudel.
Since 1998 she has also worked as a choreographer, starting out as an assistant to various directors before founding her own company in 2000. Miram's is the company’s debut show.
