4 Litres 12 was a troupe led by Michel Massé, affiliated with CUIFERD and the Nancy World Theatre Festival, which disbanded in 2012.
Over the course of 4 decades, 4 Litres 12 created more than twenty original shows in Nancy, touring all over France and Europe, from Granada to Krakow via Lorraine, London, Helsinki and Paris, not to mention a few adventures in Beirut and Israel.
With the exception of La Station debout (directed by Philippe Thomine) and 4 Litres 12, le Projet (directed by Odile Massé), all of the company’s creations were written and directed by Michel Massé.
The company won the Black Comedy Grand Prix in 1993, in recognition of their body of work.
