Since 2000 (and the premiere of his piece Stella Maris), Jakop  Ahlbom and his company have presented a series of creations heavily influenced by the dynamics of dreams and the unconscious, people by characters seemingly at war with themselves… In a distinctly personal style based on an intimate blend of theatre, mime, dance and illusions, as well as a wilfully fragmented approach to mixing genres and styles, Ahlbom crafts visually extraordinary shows where illusion and acrobatics become part of the action, and reality is constantly manipulated and distorted.
