The vanguard of Russian alternative culture in a truly extraordinary performance.

A woman is bound to a chair, attached with woollen ties… Nearby a man prepares a knot, slips it over her head then kicks the chair away…
Bizarre objects, strange sounds, disturbing images where tragedy peeks through the black comedy: White Cabin makes stark use of contrasts to examine the alienation and loneliness of humanity. The surrealist universe conjured up by Akhe confronts the audience with a succession of intense emotions.
All of Akhe’s performances combine diverse elements (people/objects, land/space) to create an intimate connection between the piece itself and the characters who inhabit it. White Cabin draws the audience into its atmospheric world, hovering eternally between comedy and tragedy. With no real narrative, the actors present a series of imaginary episodes dissecting human vices with the use of facial expressions and innovative staging devices. A melancholy, spiritual performance.
