Vres (Heather), bearing the ironic alternative title ‘Optimist’, explores and mocks human aggression.
The aggression of men toward women and vice versa, between men, between mankind and the environment, etc. In this dark world the women are beautiful, sweet, ethereal. The men, meanwhile, wriggle like worms and get increasingly uglier as they descend into pathetic self-parody.
