Symphonie obscène deconstructs reality to play with our perception of identities.

Joséphine Evrard and Andreas Müller probe the gaps in our rationality, locked in a constant struggle with the impulses of the flesh, attempting to grasp those irrepressible phenomena which defy the Cartesian order that the mind seeks to impose upon the heart.
Structured like a piece of music, divided into a suite of ironic phrases "piano-allegro-staccato nudo-andante-très vexée, stürmisch bewegt", this obscene symphony of life combines mime, dance and acrobatics.
High wires, ropes, bars, switches, joints, nerves, organs and hair are all tangled up in the space inhabited by this anonymous couple. A free association of images inspired by German expressionism of the inter-war years.
