Strange Fruit

Strange Fruits sway their way through some of life’s universal themes, from birth to the creative process.

Giant, illuminated orbs of luminous beauty contain within their maternal embrace a set of characters in fœtal state. They gradually emerge from their diaphanous cocoons, rising above their spheres of existence. All of a sudden, a comedy breaks out: they argue, flirt, pair up and soon discover the intoxicating lure of freedom.
In six tableaux oscillating between mockery and sensitivity, the show expands upon the visual potential evident in the company’s previous creation, The Field.
