Straddling the line between dance and contemporary art, Rito is a timeless piece, inspired primarily by Ancient Greece and pre-Columbian Mexico. The physical symbiosis between the two performers gives rise to a bizarre form or organic liturgy, recounting the incredible story of humanity, driven onwards by the forces of nature and life, love and death… Seeking inspiration in physicality, sculpture, light and sound, all bound together by the power of choreography and striking visual installations, Rito is a rich, complex experience.
