Les Voisins du Dessus theatre company have concocted a peripatetic, thematic show especially for MIMOS, inviting audience participation. This team of puppet artists, sculptors, builders, costume designers and visual effects artists worked hand-in-hand with the spectators to reveal their inner creative genius…
The project began with an open workshop, led by the artists, who invited spectators to take part in the construction of giant puppets, masks, and accessories for the parade. The workshop included writing,  modelling and drawing sessions, as participants designed and developed characters with reference to the history of the location hosting the project. This phase was followed by a series of hands-on workshops, involving sculpture, welding, sewing, and painting. Participants were also introduced to the techniques required to bring these puppets and accessories to life. All participants were free to choose the activities they preferred.
