“Because we did the best we could/ Because things aren’t what they used to be/ We had it, now it’s gone/ Here in our endless solitude…” goes the song by Camille Bazbaz, which inspired the title of this new show, as well as its melancholic, unsteady ambiance. Jules-Angelo strikes out alone, looking solitude right in the eyes and transforming that fear into a slyly poetic visual performance.
