An exotic performance which transports the audience to an imagined Orient.
It all started with Passages. Then came Silence, and now here is Empreintes, the final instalment in the trilogy created by Théâtre de l'Astrakan and existing in an unbalanced parallel world in which humans are forever struggling to stay upright.
Amidst this tumult of furniture and animated objects, each character wears their scars like a badge of honour. Life’s vicissitudes have been etched into their very being. And yet, from all this turmoil comes laughter, wrenched from a series of images as beautiful as they are mysterious, making the wait more bearable as these wandering refugees search for themselves in a barren land.
