Théâtre du Mouvement - Yves Marc

A show-conference focusing on those everyday movements which say so much about our unconscious...

A look, a nod of the head, a movement of the hand, a pose, a step… All those simple little movements which go unnoticed, by us and by everyone else, because they are so integral to our daily lives and our modes of perception... In this innovative show, which mimics the form of a conference, Yves Marc picks out and dissects some of our most familiar everyday movements. And yet, these “unnoticed” gestures can tell us so much about the “language” of the body, and what it says about our past, our present and even our future. Drawing on the lessons of neurosciences and communication techniques (NLP, non-verbal communication), Yves Marc presents an ironic, though always scientific, vision of humanity. Calling upon his own experience as an actor and director associated with the Théâtre du Mouvement, he offers up a series of insightful portraits of life and those who live it...
